Worlds of Possibility: August 2022 Issue
The August Issue of Worlds of Possibility in ebook and PDF formats now free for everyone.
Note: As of July 31, 2024, this entire issue is now free for everyone in all formats. Below is the original post that was sent to paid subscribers, which has been updated to have links to all the individual online pages for the pieces.
The August 2022 Issue of Worlds of Possibility is here at last!
I've included a few different download formats for you. If you have a kindle, you'll either want the mobi (for older kindles) or the kindle specific epub version (for newer ones). If you use any other e-reader, the generic epub should be fine, and if you want to read a PDF version, that's there for you, too! The illustrations are in color, so I recommend that if you have an e-reader that displays in grayscale, you ALSO get the PDF so you can see how gorgeous the artwork is.
This issue contains:
- Wheat Fields on Fire: art in support of Ukraine by Lesia Korol.
- Fencepost and Tree: two drabbles by Marc A. Criley with illustrations by Andrew Turok.
- Bidaai ki Chicken Curry: a science fiction flash story by Keyan Bowes.
- Water and Glass: a fantasy story by Megan Baffoe with an illustration by Ana Niki.
- A Saturday Out: a science fiction/fantasy flash story by Lena Ng with an illustration by Julia Kim.
- What It Takes to Stay Wild: A fantasy flash story by Die Booth.
The votes for what to release first were for a science fiction flash story, so the first public release will be "Bidaai ki Chicken Curry" by Keyan Bowes.
Thanks SO MUCH for supporting me by being a subscriber! If you think this issue is as cool as I do, please do tell everyone! Subscribers and patrons are the only ones who can access this issue in full and patron pledges and subscription fees are what makes it possible for me to continue paying creators for work!
